The family spent much time in the lake(was sooo hot) which is a great swimming lake with the sand bar just feet from the dock. The yard was huge with enough room for all your outdoor games. The sun room was a great addition with beautiful views of the lake, the deck was huge with a swing for two ( spent many mornings sitting and listening to the birds sing) and the grill was a great asset. The house was super clean with all we would need for the week. My family arrived for a week of relaxation and we were not disappointed. “Wonderful cabin on Lake Winnebago” This house is as advertised and more. But the piece de resistance of the public areas is the year-round indoor/outdoor pool, with a depth of no more than 5 feet, which makes it perfect for swimmers and non-swimmers (me) alike.įirst, and most importantly, each guest room has it's own private bath stocked with lovely smelling potions and lotions, big, soft, fluffy bath towels and anything else that you might need. There is also a beautiful green lawn with several flowering beds and many lovely spots for sitting. And their home reminds me of an English Country Cottage with the many comfortable seating areas and nooks and crannies expected. They are so friendly and engaging that you feel at home almost as soon as you arrive. “It's Delightful, It's Delicious, It's De-lovely!” One would think that Cole Porter wrote those lyrics after visiting Ye Olde Manor House! The owners, Karen Fulbright-Anderson and John anderson, are a delightful, warm, welcoming couple.
